Painted Body – This work is amazing and

this chick is going to be FAMOUS!!!  Her work is striking and magical.  Everyone seems to be drawn to a different photo…strongly.  Just love it.  What I also can’t believe is that she takes the photo’s herself AND paints herself too.  Just great!

Just saw this illusion of color Ted Talk and I love it…

I’m a bit jealous but in a great way.  His work is along the lines of what I’ve always wanted to do.  I think that is why color is so illusive…it’s all relative.  There are generals like this is blue and this is light blue but every person sees it differently.  Enjoy this guys work…it’s cool.

One of Seattles best artists! I adore her work…

Kamala Dolphin-Kingsley has a wonderful style.  I’m staring at one of her paintings right now, as I write this.  She used to have a super quirky blog about her dog.  Some of her paintings have a bit quirky subject matter too.  That’s what I love about her…great sense of humor but most of all, great work!  I don’t know her but I’ve been introduced a couple of times.  I appreciate her skills.

Connie Roberts – Playful, musical art!

I remember seeing her work at a gallery show in Chicago a loooong time ago.  It was a princess and the pea theme.  She had all these mattresses, carved out of wood, and you could use as a whistle too.  They were so fun!  She had quite a crowd around her too… I think she had a good show.  ;)

Dan Klennert – Rusty Gold

Dan has an art park up on Mount Ranier and has tons of international visitors.  You may have seen the giant giraffe peaking at you on the way there (if you’re local to the Seattle area).  He has been in movies, documentaries and countless flikr pics.  If you have visitors, his park is a crowd pleaser.

Saw this art jewelry at Urban Craft Uprising

They looked like miniature, wonderful paintings on resin.  I know RESIN!  I’m not a big fan but I’m a huge fan of her jewelry.  It wouldn’t have mattered if it was on poo…it would have looked gorgeous.

If you’re not a bear fan, she has tons of birds and other japanese themes.  Looks like she’s a fine art painter too which might explain her work looking like miniature paintings.

Sang Roberson – just gorgeous

I couldn’t find a website for this person except an organization that she (he?) is in.  This person is in a TON of galleries though.  :) leafBowlPiedmont Craftstman
